Everyone's a photographer nowadays ...

... and as the Kaiser Chiefs said Everything Is Average Nowadays. Not that average is by itself bad. If everyone gets 100% in an exam they've all done very well. Or to put it another way they've all done equally well, so they're average. Looking at the camera/phones I'm sure some are better than others, but the shots (and quite possibly videos) are likely to be a much of a muchness. But hang on a minute. This picture isn't the whole picture! To the left and right of me in the Saatchi Gallery during London Fashion Weekend was a fantastic collection of Canon cameras (thanks for the invite guys), even the relatively new EOS 5DS. So, everything isn't average nowadays and I doubt and hope it never will be.
