50s style

Even though I'd shot the publicity photos, see my article Step Back In Time, I was not sure what to expect when the big secret-cinema day came.
Not only was I shooting the event in a suit, nothing odd there, but I was wearing a trilby with a press card tucked in the band. Even my camera sat on a new metal plate so the flash could sit beside it looking kinda 50s too.
I needn't have worried, most people who turned up to witness the spectacle and support the charities were either dressed for 1955 or 1985, the two years in which Back to the Future was set. Everywhere you went in the church, hall, rooms, foyer, café, car park, grounds you found that you were on the set! A great hoot and we can't wait until the next one...
