BLOODHOUND SSC

Today is the world debut for the BLOODHOUND SSC. A car that's genuinely unique. I was lucky enough to be one of the 8,000 visitors see the supersonic car.
As an engineer, I frequently feel that the profession is underrated and devalued (don't get me started!) and even if taught well it can be done without the passion that it deserves. Here in the East Wintergarden, which is also an engineering beauty it its own way, it's fantastic to be part of the buzz and see young children catching the engineering 'bug'. Kudos to all the parents and carers who brought along their boys and girls.
